The two weights of the original font worked well on laser printer proofs, but printed too lightly to be legible on imagesetter pages.

Solution |
| |
I created two new weights of the font that each worked well on imagesetter pages. Because of the way that FrameMaker uses font weights, the writers were able to continue using their original fonts. When the files were moved into production, FrameMaker automatically substituted the new fonts for the old.
